Glenn A. Admire age 56 of Alliance, died at 9:13 a.m. Monday December 20, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
Mr. Admire was born January 2, 1948 in Ravenna, Ohio to Harold J. and Ruth I. (Porter) Admire and lived in Alliance most of his life.
He graduated from Alliance High School and worked as a Flexo operator at Sebring Container in Salem. He was previously employed by the former Alliance Rubber Co. in Alliance.
A member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church he assisted with communion at area nursing homes. He was a member of Local 5-1377 Paper Allied - Industrial, Chemical & Energy Workers International Union (Pace). Glenn enjoyed football, baseball, basketball, walking his dog Autumn, eating and visiting at Shaffers Diner. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
Survivors include three sisters, Nancy (Thomas) Flowers of Shalersville, Ohio, Wanda Dickson of Alliance, Donna Jean (Daniel) Diver of Amsterdam, Ohio; two nephews John E. Dickson Jr. and Joseph E. Dickson; five nieces Joyce E. Carpenter, Stacey Diver, Renee Kuhn, Cara Diver, and Andrea Barnett.
Mr. Admire was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Charles D. Burton, a brother Melvin T. Admire, a nephew Thomas Flowers Jr. and an infant sister Kathryn Ann Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Seifert of Regina Coeli Catholic Church officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Edinburg Cemetery.
