Glenn Spore

Glenn Spore, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Alliance Community Care Center.

He was born August 20, 1935 in Carrollton to Cornelius E. and Ila Marie (Harsh) Spore.

A 1954 graduate of Alliance High School, Glenn entered in The United States Airforce from 1955 until his retirement from the armed forces in 1975. He worked for Robertson’s Heating in quality control and was a debit agent for Western & Southern Life.

He was a member of the Alliance Elks, and enjoyed reading and western movies.

Survivors include step-sons, Joe (Holly) Alfani of Alliance, Bob (Lisa) Alfani of Covington, KY, David (Todd Bersch) Alfani of Muskego Lake, WI, Mark (Darlene) Alfani of Canton, OH; brother, Harry L. Spore of Winterhave FL; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Spore, whom he married August 8, 1978 and who died September 2, 2017.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Stark Human Society P.O.
