Gloria Funk

Gloria R. Funk, age 74, of Alliance, died at 9:59 p.m. Feb. 10, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1931 in Alliance, Ohio to Ralph A. and Margaret E. (Buckel) Funk and lived in Alliance most of her life. Gloria graduated from Alliance High School and was employed at the former G.C. Murphy Co. in Alliance. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert E. Funk, and Ronald Funk, both of Alliance; one sister, Evelyn Spears of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Rosemary, Millie and Gertrude; and two brothers, Ralph and Richard.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Fr. Donald Feicht officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Mount Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, Alliance Citadel, 57 W. Main St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
