Gloria J. Long

Gloria J. Long, age 60, of Alliance, died at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 18, 1956, in Alliance, Ohio, to William C. Eglie Sr. and Catherine (Yennie) Eglie.
A graduate of West Branch High School, Gloria enjoyed camping at Berlin Lake with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Long, whom she married November 14, 1973; son, Kevin (Megan) Long; grandson, Broden; step-granddaughter, Alexandra; sister, Brenda (Randy) Reed; brothers, William (Kay) Eglie Jr., and John (Ange) Eglie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 5th.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, to be used for the families' discretion, may be sent c/o the funeral home.
