Gregory W. Rose

Gregory W. Rose, age 67, of Alliance, passed away at 2:13 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Delaware Court Healthcare Center, in Delaware, Ohio, surrounded by his family.
He was born January 30, 1947, in Alliance, Ohio, to Everett and Irene (Boughner) Rose. A 1965 graduate of Alliance High School, Greg served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. During his service in the Army, he learned to be a welder, and later worked at Cope Furniture. Greg enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Diana (Ken) Winebrener of Delaware, Ohio and three grandsons, Nicholas, Cameron, and Gabriel.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 28 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Black officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
