Gretchen V. Brunner, age 91, of Alliance, died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born in Alliance January 27, 1917 to Carl E. and Jessie B. (Milner) Myers and was a lifelong resident of Alliance.
Gretchen attended Alliance Public Schools. She was a life member of the Elks Auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her son, Carl D. Brunner of Alliance; and her brother, Jack L. Myers of Fl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald E. Brunner whom she married October 6, 1934 and who died April 14, 1992; and one brother Richard Myers.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Mainwaring Chapel at Alliance City Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
