Gwen A. Brown, age 69, of Alliance died at 3:53 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Community Care Center.
She was born May 10, 1938 in Alliance to Andrew and Ann (Cimperman) Reno.
Mrs. Brown was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She was a social member of the Dante Society where she enjoyed face painting, the kids and special events. She loved to draw with her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Brown, whom she married Dec. 2, 1967; children, Christine Brown, William Brown and Heidi (Brown) Vance; grandchildren, Taylor Vance, Kayley Olsen, Drew Brown, Austin Vance and Brooklyn Brown and brother Jack (Betty) Reno.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Andrew Reno.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Donald Feicht as celebrant.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
