Gwendolyn Goff, age 88, of Alliance passed away at 3:50 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2009 at Oakhill Manor.
She was born November 7, 1920 in Akron to Ralph and Edna (Snyder) Grund and was an Alliance resident most of her life. She was of the Methodist Faith.
Gwendolyn is survived by her daughter, Connie Fike of Alliance; three grandchildren, Hallie Fike (Matt Galbreath) of Salem, Beth Fike (James Stewart) of Brewster and Caleb Fike (Linda Meiring) of Leetonia; six great grandchildren, November, Phoenix, Heaven Leigh, Nicole, Matthew, and Cayla; and a sister, Vivian Zimmerman of Los Banos, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William F. Goff in 1988.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at Highland Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Martin of Christ United Methodist Church officiating.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave. Alliance, Ohio.
