H. Louise Hobbs

H. Louise Hobbs, age 100, of Alliance, passed away at 9:40 a.m., Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Bel-Air Care Center.
She was born September 16, 1915, in Carrollton, Ohio, to Aaron Arthur Sheehan and Ada (McLaughlin) Sheehan, and spent most of her life in the Alliance area.
Louise was a 1933 graduate of Alliance High School and a life member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Marie Kelly of Akron; son, Frederick (Rebekah) Arthur Hobbs and step-son, Robert (Kay) Wendell Hobbs II, both of Alliance; three grandchildren, Benjamin Hobbs, Jacob Hobbs and Erin D'Alessio; and two great-grandchildren, Isabella D'Alessio and Zacary Barbour.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Wendell Hobbs, whom she married October 11, 1952 and who died April 17, 1994; and two brothers, Melvin James Sheehan, and Carl F. Sheehan.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Stephanie Lee officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church 470 E. Broadway Ave., Alliance, Ohio, 44601.
