Harold Blaine Baier

Harold Blaine Baier, age 78, of Beloit, passed away at home Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
He was born January 21, 1939 in Alliance to Arthur William and Virginia Irene (Yeagley) Baier.
A Veteran of the United States Navy, Harold was raised in Alliance and moved to Indiana in the early 60's, returning to the Alliance area in the late 80's to live the rest of his life with his companion, Shirley Morris.
Harold is survived by his companion of 30 years, Shirley M. Morris; children, Jeffrey Lyn (Dana) Baier of Augusta, Georgia, Timothy Blaine (Stacey) Baier of Evansville, Indiana and Cora Louise Soles of Saint Petersburg, Florida; Kim (Eric) Kline of Alliance, Ken (Anita) Morris of Beloit, Shane (Tawanda) Morris of Newberry, Florida and Shellimar (Dwayne) Amelung of Doylestown, Ohio; sisters, Janice Shonk of Alliance, Margaret (Bill) Stephens of Roanoke, Indiana and Barbara (Wayne) Pharr of Covington, Kentucky; brothers, John of Alliance, Robert (Chyrel) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Donald (Elizabeth) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana and David (Lora) Baier of Sammamish, Washington; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Arthur William Baier, Jr. and Kevin Bruce Baier.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018 at American Legion Post 76 in Sebring. Harold will be laid to rest at Alliance City Cemetery.
