Harriet Gray

Harriet M. Gray age 89 formerly of Alliance died Monday August 11, 2003 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born December 17, 1913 in Burlington, Vermont to Hollis E. and Ruth P. (Bond) Gray. Harriet graduated in 1931 from Burlington High School; she also graduated from the University of Vermont, the Bouve Boston School of Physical Education, and received her master's degree from Penn State.
Miss Gray retired in 1980 from Andrew School for Girls in Willoughby, Ohio, after working as a teacher for 15 years and Dean of Girls for 15 years. She previously worked as a Health and Physical Education Teacher at Lake Erie College for 3 years.
She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, and College St. Congregational Church in Vermont. She was a member of AAUW, Music Study; Tennysonion, and enjoyed line dancing.
She is survived by one brother Allen Gray, and one nephew John A. Gray, both of Highlands, New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Nelson Von Gray.
Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, Vermont.
