Hazel Atwood

Hazel G. Atwood, age 93 of Alliance, and formerly of Minerva, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday January 25, 2005 at Community Care Center.
She was born July 13, 1911 in Cornish, New Hampshire to Orrel F. Atwood and Huldah E. (Scribner) Atwood, and lived in the Alliance area since the late 1970's.
She attended the Kimball Union Academy in Meridan New Hampshire, and attended Fairmount Emmanuel Church.
Miss Atwood is survived by one nephew, Leland (Sharon) Atwood of Cornish Flat, N.H., one great-niece Jill Atwood of Pittsburgh, Pa., and one great-nephew, Eric Atwood of Cornish Flat, N.H.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ellsworth H. Atwood, and one sister, Beulah K. Cunningham.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Echols of Fairmount Emmanuel Church officiating. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
