Hazel M. Fagan, age 88, of Alliance, died at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Salem Community Hospital.
She was born February 21, 1923, in Marysville, Ohio, to William A. Clapper and Laura Clapper.
A 1941 graduate of Alliance High School, Hazel was a member of the First Christian Church of Alliance and employed with the family construction company as former co-owner of the W.B. Fagan Roofing and Sheet Metal.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Boyd) Phelps of Katy, Texas and Cathy Collins of Alliance; son, Michael B. (Jodi) Fagan of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Michelle Pinkerton, Brent Fausnight, Michael B. Fagan II., Melissa Fagan, Crystal Mellon, Dustin Collins and Marc Fagan; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Warren B. Fagan, whom she married July 11, 1942, and who died in 1979; son, Patrick Fagan; sister, Violet Milbrodt; and a brother, Clyde A. Clapper.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
