Hazel K. Moser

Hazel K. Moser, age 94, of Alliance, passed away at 7:17 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born July 26, 1921 in Maximo, Ohio, to Elgie E. Bowman and Mary (Betz) Bowman-Conrad.
Hazel was a 1940 graduate of Alliance High School. She was employed as a Dental Lab Technician and enjoyed being a homemaker.
She was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ, American Legion, Elks Widows Club and Presbyterian Sisters Group.
Hazel enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Lawrence) Donaldson of Alliance; son, Edward C. (Treva) Moser of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Susan (Marty) Clark, Sharon (Bill) Pfister, Charles (Loraine) Moser, Laura Donaldson Kennedy (John Briden), Jodie (Greg) Pugh, Mathew Donaldson; eight great-grandchildren and sister, Dolly Witherspoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Ralph Conrad; husband, Herman A. Moser whom she married September 14, 1945; sister, Evelyn Ickes; brother, Harvey Bowman; step sisters, Ethel Whitacre and Florence Augestine; and step-brothers, Floyd, Roy, Harold and Wade Conrad.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Orchard officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
