Helen Anderson

Helen V. Anderson, age 88 of Alliance, died at 6:07 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born Dec. 30, 1916 in Alliance, Ohio to Fred and Anna (Bechtel) Green and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Anderson was a self-employed beautician in Alliance until retiring in 1979.
She was a member of First Church of God, its Missionary Society, active with "Project Partner" and member of the board of trustees.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Claude) Ferguson of Berlin Center, Ohio; two sons, Robert (Bonnie) Anderson of Alliance, and Richard (Margaret) Anderson of Alliance; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Thelma Ringwald of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andrew Anderson, whom she married Feb. 10, 1937 and who died Nov. 1, 1992, two grandchildren, Cynthia Ferguson and Clif Anderson, and one sister, Ida Shonk.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of God with Pastor Larry Murphy. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
