Helen L Bower

Helen L. Bower, age 79, passed away peacefully at Community Care Center at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

She was October 13, 1941 in Alliance, Ohio to Howard and Mildred (Sigman) Bower.

A 1959 graduate of Alliance High School, Helen retired after working as a Legal Secretary for McKinley Title in Canton. She was formerly employed as a Legal Secretary for several Attorneys.

Helen was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching sporting events, cooking and working in her flower beds. She loved watching Disney movies and visiting Disney World.

She was considered “Aunt Helen” by neighboring children.

Those left to cherish her memory are cousins, James Sigman, of Tampa, FL, Ronald (Donna) Serluco of IL, David Sigman of North Benton,  Don (Linda) Bell of Alliance,  brother-in-law, Sam Serluco, of Tampa, FL, and close relatives, Mary Sigman of Westville, Terry Fedor, of Alliance, and Josephine Sigman, of Alliance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy Serluco, and Marilyn Bower.

A memorial service will be held on June 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, children’s activities 470 E. Broadway St, Alliance, OH 44601.
