Helen Bowers

Helen "Marjorie" Bowers, age 86 of Alliance, died at 8 p.m. November 1, 2006 at Community Care Center.
She was born November 10, 1919 in North Canton to Frank and Bessie (Britzus) Kaufman and had lived in Marlboro the past 53 years.
Marjorie graduated from North Canton Hoover High School and was employed by the Hoover Co. She later worked for Hoover High School as a secretary.
She was a member of Science Hill United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons Ronald (Cathy) Bowers and Richard (Charlotte) Bowers both of Marlboro; grandchildren Derek, Andrea and Megan and nieces Cindy Casto and Sue Folk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leroy R. Bowers whom she married May 20, 1951 and who passed away March 15, 1998, and sister Lucille Schrader.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel in Marlboro with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
