Helen R. Brown

Helen R. Brown, age 88, of Alliance, passed away at 2:40 a.m., Monday, October 14, 2013 at her home.
She was born May 31, 1925, in Alliance, to Thomas and Rose (Olivicz) Yaros.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Helen was formerly employed at a golf shop in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Helen was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion in Sebring and the Dante Club in Alliance.
Her hobbies included working puzzles, knitting and bowling. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Cafaro, Susan Tolley, and Daniel Cafaro, all of Alliance; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Cafaro; son, Robert E. Cafaro in 1985, and sister, Evelyn Prokopchuk.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
