Helen Cassaday

Helen Cassaday, age 91, of Alliance, died Thursday morning, November 25, 2010, at her home.
She was born October 30, 1919, in Alliance, Ohio, to Daniel and Regina (Falka) Farkas.
Helen was a graduate of Alliance High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking and going to garage sales. She loved working in her rose garden.
Survivors include her son, Frank M. Cassaday and daughter, Moss Koons, both of Alliance; four grandchildren, Peter, Brenda, Donnie and David; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank H. Cassaday, whom she married May 16, 1942 and who died April 15, 1993; son, Richard; three brothers, Dan, Bill and John; and two sisters, Rose Hall and Irene Yurkas.
A Chapel Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Alliance City Cemetery with Pastor Karl Stonebraker officiating. Interment will follow.
