Helen M. Corbi, age 90, of Sebring, passed away at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born October 26, 1920, in Alliance to Daniel F. and Ethelwyn (Jones) Otto.
Helen was a graduate of Alliance High School, the Canton School of Beauty Culture and formerly owned her own beauty shop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 80 years and a 17 year member of the Copeland Oaks Community where she was a chorale member.
Helen enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be missed by her family, which includes her sons, Dennis Corbi and Ronald (Janice) Corbi; daughter, Karen (John) Blaser; grandchildren, Joseph (Beth) Corbi, David (Janet) Corbi, Christine Corbi, Christopher Blaser, Ann-Michele (Noah) Corbi Potvin, Scott Blaser, Jennifer (Patrick) Kane and Rebecca (Alex) Grinch; great grandchildren, Danielle Kane, Kaitlyn Corbi, Michelle Kane, Peyton Corbi, David Corbi, Hannah Corbi, Katherine Kane and Tyler Grinch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mario J, Corbi, whom she married October 14, 1940 and who died May 27, 2006; brother, William H. Otto; sister, Elizabeth J. Glasser and daughter-in-law, Kathy Corbi.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Jody Csaki officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
