Helen Greene

Helen M. Greene age 80 of Alliance, died at Mercy Medical Center at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday May 11, 2004 after a brief illness.
She was born July 13, 1923 in Alliance, Ohio to Bernard F. and Frances (Yelenski) McCoskey and was a lifelong Alliance resident.
Mrs. Greene graduated from Alliance High School, and was employed as an assembly worker at Alliance Manufacturing until retiring in 1961.
She was a member of the East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 55 years. She enjoyed music and dancing, and had a love for animals.
Mrs. Greene is survived by her loving husband, Douglas T. Greene, whom she married July 1, 1950, one daughter, Susan C. Greene of North Canton, one son, Robert (Susan L.) Greene of Akron, one sister, Veronica Carretta of Alliance, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and four sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Mr. Bruce Lemmon officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
