Helen Jarvis

Helen M. Jarvis, age 82, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord, at 11:02 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at Aultman Hospital.
She was born October 2, 1928, in Clay County, Bickmore, West Virginia, to Charles L. and Ora (Boggs) Murphy and has resided in Alliance since 1951.
Helen was employed at L&F Products, formerly D-Con, for twenty years.
She was a member of the Alliance Baptist Temple. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and her best friend, her dog, Minnie.
Survivors include her three daughters, Joanne (John) Colapietro, Pamela (Galen) Greeneisen, and Bonnie (Greg) Bara, all of Alliance; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Erika, Amanda, Ashley, Chris, Justin, Jenny and Sarah; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; six sisters and four brothers; and daughter, Tammy Greeneisen.
A private family service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Payne of Alliance Baptist Temple officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
