Helen Louise Miller

Helen “Sweetie” Louise Miller, age 76, of Alliance, passed away on April 22, 2022.

She was born on November 1, 1945 in Ridley, Tennessee to H.B. and Helen Edwards.

Helen was a retired housekeeper at Mount Union College. She loved bingo, playing cards and cooking; but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Davis (Felicia) Nicholson, Darin Colbert and Derrick (Renee) Nicholson; her siblings, H.Lee Edwards, Burnette Daniels, Sandra (Robert) Thomas, Timothy Edwards, Mark Edwards, and Joseph Edwards; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; and many others who loved  her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Miller; daughters, Precious, Christina Thomas and Deborah Kennedy; three grandchildren; two brothers, Gregory Edwards and Michael Edwards; and one sister, June Ann Threats.

A funeral service will be held at Feed My Sheep Ministries on Thursday, April 28th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Bobby Williams will officiate.  She will be laid to rest at Alliance City Cemetery.
