Helen L. Oesch, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Community Care Center.
She was born May 6, 1926 to Harvey and Mina (Eutzly) Domino.
Helen was a graduate of the Alliance Business College and Salem Business College and retired in 1992 after working as a receptionist and switch board operator at Molly Stark Hospital.
A member of the New Franklin United Methodist Church, Helen was active in United Methodist Women, Christian Women's Club and Church Women United. She also enjoyed reading, traveling and was once a member of the Sweet Adelines.
Survivors include her son, Douglas (Niska) Oesch of Minerva; grandchildren, Nerissa (Brad) Maris of Homeworth, Derek (Stefanie) Oesch of E. Canton and Grant Oesch of Alliance; and great grandchildren, Cody, Layne and Ashley Maris and Catherine, Zachary, Joseph and Matthew Oesch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; sisters, Rebecca Hiddleson, Ruth Cameron and Blanche Conrad; and brother, Donald Domino.
Services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Gardner officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be at Herrington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Franklin United Methodist Church, 16540 Lisbon St., Minerva, OH, 44657.
