Helen Irene Reno

Helen Irene (Wade) Reno, age 92, passed away February 23, 2022.

She was born on March 16, 1929 in Bergholz, Ohio to Daniel F. Wade and Rosa P. (Palmer) Wade.

Helen graduated from Bergholz High School in 1947. She grew up on a 120 acre farm near Bergholz. After graduation, she moved in with her aunt Ida Elliot and worked at Lewis Engineering in Alliance. Helen held certificates from correspondence writing schools, both 2 and 4 years. She wrote short stories and poems. She was the family genealogist and wrote short biographies of many family members. Helen loved picnics and parties where she socialized with her siblings and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and proud queen in 1993. She was also a member of Worldwide Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Cheryl Jean Bailey and Richard Owen Reno; sisters, Betty Wade, Jean Wade, Daisy Russo; brothers, Daniel, Thomas and Wilbur Wade.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Martha Toot and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are welcome at the interment at Mount Union Cemetery on March 16th at 2:00 p.m.
