Helen Irene Seevers, age 79 of Alliance, died at Flex Specialty Hospital at 9:15 a.m. March 19, 2004.
She was born May 2, 1925 in Alliance, Ohio to John and Carrie (Mayes) Girard and was a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Seevers graduated in 1941 from Alliance High School, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sebring.
She is survived by her husband, Dale W. Seevers, whom she married September 5, 1953, two sons; John W. (Phyllis) Seevers, of Henderson Nevada, and James W. (Louise) Seevers, who is serving with the U.S. Navy; five grandchildren; one brother, James (Clara) Girard, of Alliance, and one sister, Mrs. Norman (Betty) Blake, of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one granddaughter.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Sebring. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
