Helen N. Roosa (Willis) Wilson

Helen N. (Willis) Roosa Wilson, age 84, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at her home.

She was born January 7, 1935, in Barberton, Ohio, to William and Mary (Lucas) Willis.

Helen was employed as an inspector for 12 years at the former Royal China Company in Sebring until her retirement. Then after retiring, she worked in home health care.

She was a member of the Alliance Baptist Temple.

Helen loved to decorate, enjoyed gardening and her dog, Oscar.

Survivors include her children, Candy (Rick) Metzgar and William (Nancy) Roosa, both of Alliance; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sisters, Edna (Joe) Nolan and Shirley (Don) Haupt; and sister-in-law, Pat Kaminski, all of Alliance.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Wilson, whom she married June 10, 1994 and who died October 13, 2013; daughter, Robin Roosa; sons, Neal Roosa and Reginald Roosa; great-grandson, Noah Wise; and a brother, William Willis.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lowe officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
