Herta Peshek

Herta Peshek, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born January 4, 1931 in Herborn, Germany to Karl and Luise (Kretzer) Schneider.
Herta was a nanny for two families in the Alliance area for many years and she was a custodian for the Alliance Board of Education.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, shopping, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-children.
Herta is survived by her husband, Frank T. Peshek of Alliance, whom she married November 11, 1948; son, Frank (Sandra) Peshek of Alliance; daughter, Catherine (Edward) Teeters of Alliance; three grandchildren; René Peshek Williams, Ryan (Erika) Peshek and Angela (Scott) Esporite; four great-grandchildren, Alex Phillips, Todd Secrest, Benjamin and Kaitlyn Esporite; and many nieces and nephews in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Martha Shuck and Toni Hempel; and brother, Fritz Schneider.
Private services were held Friday, June 2, 2017 with an interment at Highland Memorial Park.
