Hilda Margaret (Bell) Zurbrick, age 88, of Sebring, formerly of Fort Meade, Florida, and Burnsville, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
She was born April 5, 1928 to Adrian P. and Katherine (Minor) Bell in Tampa, Florida. She was then raised in Fort Meade, Florida.
She was a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with a Bachelor of Music in voice, and she married David Zurbrick in 1951.
She taught voice lessons at Ohio State University, sang professionally, and shared her talent and love for music with many students, churches and communities.
They retired to Burnsville, North Carolina where they lived for many happy years. They helped found St. Thomas Episcopal Church. After the death of her husband of 56 years, she moved to Sebring, Ohio.
She is survived by her children, Suzanne Moushey, Judith Zurbrick, and Diane Clark; their husbands; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, George M. Bell and Robert A. Bell; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in April in Burnsville, North Carolina.
