Howard Strawser

Howard A. Strawser, age 81, of Ravenna, passed away on March 26, 2022.

He was born on April 4, 1940 in Tunnelton, West Virginia to Robert Strawser and Lucille “Thelma” McGuines.

Howard worked as an electrician for Chrysler. He served honorably in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. Howard enjoyed playing cards, camping, watching NASCAR and attending car shows.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shirley (Phil) Hinzman; granddaughters, Amanda Holt (Josh Cody) and Amber (Matt) Weaver; five great-grandsons; sister, Katie Dewey; brothers-in-law, Vance (Chlorine) McCourt, Wesley (Debbie) McCourt, and Goodrich McCourt; sisters-in-law, Jane McCourt and Nada Roosa; and special friend, Vicky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda (McCourt) Strawser; and his siblings, Paula and Jerry.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date in Webster Springs, West Virginia.
