Idella M. Alworth, age 88, of Alliance, died at 3:36 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born May 27, 1925 in Alliance, Ohio to Harry and Clara (Keiter) Piggott, and worked as a waitress at the restaurant of the former bus terminal.
Idella was known for her generosity, as she enjoyed giving gifts. She also enjoyed shopping, bowling, playing bingo and the lottery.
Survivors include her two nieces, Eleanor Rockwell of Bucyrus, and Beverly Russell of Worthington; one nephew, Leonard McBride of Bucyrus; six great- nephews; three great-nieces; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Anita McBride, infant brother, David, and one great-nephew.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4682 Douglas Circle NW Canton, OH 44718.
