Ingrid Foith, age 72, of Alliance passed away at 3:05 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015, at her home.
She was born September 8, 1942, in Munich, Germany to Heinrich and Elizabeth (Gas) Gruber.
Ingrid attended Alliance High School and had been employed at Giant Eagle in the meat department and as a cashier. She loved home décor and gardening.
Survivors include her two daughters, Shawn (Rust) Peterson of Alliance and Susan (Michael) Kinder of Danville, Va.; brother, Alexander ("Special Sister" Cecilia) McKee of California; grandchildren, Brent (Patricia) Peterson of Prospect, Oh., Taylor Peterson and Katie (Anthony) Higgins both of Alliance, and Hannah (Gabriel Compton) Schweitzer of Danville, Va.; great-grandchildren, Payton, Braxton and Cayden; nieces, Christy McKee and Jody Acosta; nephew, Scott McKee and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Ed Smith.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Timken Hospice or any hospice of your choice.
