Irean Sims

Irean Sims, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 1:40 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2016, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born July 12, 1925, in Kinston, North Carolina, to Sonny and Lucy West and has resided in Alliance most of her life.
Irean's faith was of the Jehovah's Witnesses and she had worked at Rokers Nursing Home until her retirement.
Survivors include her sons, Bobbie Cannon of Alliance and Charlie Sims Jr. of Chillicothe; and two daughters, Gail Tucker and Yvonne Brown, both of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charlie Sims Sr. who died March 6, 2010.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Cassaday Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Glen Moser officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
