Irene A. Martin, age 76 of Alliance, died at 3:44 p.m. February 5, 2005 at Aultman Hospital.
Mrs. Martin was born in Alliance, Ohio on October 11, 1928 to Cyril and Andella (Fojt) Duchon and was a lifelong area resident.
She graduated from Alliance High School, and received her B.A. from Mount Union College.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, past member of the Alliance YWCA, and enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Martin of Alliance, one son, Eric A. Martin of Dublin, Ohio and one sister, Andella Jeffries of Vienna, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Cyril Duchon.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Hookway officiating. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
