Irene Elizabeth Rose, age 85 of Alliance, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born November 7, 1925 in Sebring, Ohio to Arthur and Ella Boughner.
Mrs. Rose graduated from Quaker Hill One Room School and formerly worked at Sherwood's Manufacturing.
She attended Pine Lake Christian Church, and enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, and making quilts.
Survivors include her husband, Everett; son, Greg; granddaughter, Diana; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Mildred.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Clifford.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Palmer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
