Irma Ione Teter, age 101, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday July 22, 2008, at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance, Ohio.
She was born in New Baltimore, Ohio, on June 4, 1907, to the late Charles and Marjorie (Pontious) Royer. She resided in New Baltimore until the death of her husband, Richard Enoch Teter in 1991 at which time she went to live with her daughter and son-in-law for the next fifteen years.
Irma graduated from Randolph High School, was a member of the New Baltimore Christian Community Church most of her life, and was a lifelong member of the former Marlboro Grange.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Darwin; grandson, Douglas; four sisters; and one brother.
Irma is survived by her son-in-law and daughter, Lawrence and Naomi Breit of Minerva; six grandchildren; seven great- granchildren; and nine great- great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at New Baltimore Cemetery with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call from 9-10 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at New Baltimore Cemetery.
