Irvin Kriner

July 14, 1920 — September 5, 2007

Irvin F. Kriner, age 87, of Alliance, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at McCrea Manor.
Mr. Kriner was born July 14, 1920 in Alliance, Ohio to David S. and Stella (Zurbrugg) Kriner and was a lifelong resident.
He was a graduate of Alliance High School and attended Mount Union College for 2 years. He was employed as a Food Service Manager.
Mr. Kriner was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Delta Sigma Phi and was Den Father of Pack 58 and Committee Chairman. Irvin was a U.S. Army Air Corp. Veteran having served in the American Theater.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie (Vrzak) Kriner of Beloit, whom he married October 18, 1946; and sons, Timothy S. Kriner and Kevin L. Kriner, both of Beloit.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Spencer; sister, LaRue Ford and infant sister Vestris.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Charles Parke officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 182039, Dept. 013, Columbus, Ohio 43218-2039.
