Isabel C. Kennedy

Isabel C. Kennedy, age 86, of Alliance, passed away at 2:41 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016.
She was born May 2, 1930, in Alliance, Ohio, to Herman and Isabella (Pearson) Michalk.
Isabel attended Alliance High School and was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ and of the Questors Sunday school class.
She enjoyed gardening, and the Alliance Area Senior Citizens. She enjoyed riding with her late husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathleen Ann (Fred) Long of North Benton; son, David Alan (Sandy) Kennedy of Alliance; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly McCown of (Alliance) Minerva and Billie Rowe of Minerva; and daughter-in-law, Angie of Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth C. Kennedy whom she married July 4, 1948; son, Terry Lee; and brother, Robert Michalk.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at First Christian Church 1141 W. Beech St. in Alliance co-officiated by Pastor Aaron Phillips and Sue DeHoff. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
