Isabel Pontius

Isabel June Pontius, age 101, of Marlboro, passed away on April 8, 2022.

She was born on June 12, 1920 in Louisville to Oscar and Laura and Foltz.

Isabel graduated from Marlboro High School in 1938. She attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Carol Sue Tracy, Lou Ann Pontius, Tom (Anita) Pontius; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Pontius, whom she married November 12, 1938 and who passed January 1, 1999; her children, Linda Pontius and Robert Pontius; sister, Martha Shroyer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Theresa Carter officiating.  Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
