Jack Jensen "Red" Anderson, age 75, of Alliance, died at his son's house, with whom he had resided, at 7:27 p.m. May 31, 2006.
He was born Nov. 20, 1930 in Louisville, Ohio to Wilbur and Evelyn (Horner) Anderson and was a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Jack worked for the city of Alliance Park and Recreation Department before retiring from Transue and Williams in December of 1992.
He was a member of the National Guard for twenty years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by three sons, Paul T. (Cynthia P.) Anderson of Uniontown, Jack J. Anderson and Scott A. (Suzie) Anderson, both of Ft. Collins, Co.; one brother, George Gilbert Anderson, four nephews, Hal, Jerry, Andrew, and John George of the Columbiana area; four grandsons; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; and five step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Evelyn (Blackburn) Anderson, whom he married Nov. 13, 1954, and who died Feb. 18, 2004.
Private graveside services will be held with interment at Fairmount Memorial Park.
