Jack L. Davies, age 82, of Alliance, died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1930, in Port Washington, Ohio, to Dan and Blanche (Wheeland) Davies.
A graduate and member of the varsity basketball team at Port Washington High School, Jack worked as an engineer for the Alliance Machine Co. and Kranko.
Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed playing golf and spending time on his computer.
Suvivors include his wife, Paulette (Roulette) Davies, whom he married in May, 1954; daughter, Patti Dotts; grandson, Gregory Dotts; and one brother, Gary (Mary) Davies.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held.
