Jacklyn Varga

Jacklyn R. (Greene) Varga, age 87, of Dalton, formerly of Alliance, passed away at 10:15 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.
She was born June 11, 1930 in Salem to Leo and Elsie (Humphries) Greene.
A graduate of Salem High School, Jacklyn retired from K-Mart, Inc. where she worked as a sales associate.
She was a former member of First United Presbyterian Church in Alliance and was a volunteer at Alliance Community Hospital.
She is survived by her son, David M. (Kathy) Varga of Massillon; daughter-in-law, Lana Varga of Alliance; sister-in-law, Bertha McCallister of Alliance and grandsons, Ryan (Natalie) Varga of Massillon and Michael Varga of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen Varga; son, Steven E. Varga; and sisters, Edna Rumsey and Myrtle Handschin.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alliance Community Hospital Volunteers, 200 E. State St., Alliance, OH 44601.
