Jacqueline "Jackie" DeTombe, age 40, of Hartland, Michigan died at 8:50 a.m. Monday, November 21, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Howell, Michigan.
She was born Sept. 22, 1965 in Celina, Ohio to Jack and Penny Stratton Bland Hamrick.
Jackie graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, Ohio and received her B.A. from Wittenberg University in 1989. She received her R.N. Degree from Clark State University in Springfield, Ohio.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse in Dayton, Ohio and in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A member of Brighton Christian Church in Brighton, Michigan, she was active in missions and Christian ministry for many years.
Jackie was a loving mother, wife and loved Jesus.
Survivors include her mother, Penny Hamrick of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; her husband, Christopher R. DeTombe, whom she married July 7, 1990; two daughters, Lauren and Leah, and two sons, Dawson and Jackson, all of the home; two sisters, Deb (Ron) Albright of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Sharyn (Doug) Beagle of Salem, Ohio; one brother, Jeff (Beth) Carithers of Circleville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A private service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Alliance City Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Tom Elliott of the Brighton Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
A Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Brighton Christian Church, 4309 Buno Rd., Brighton, Michigan 48116, with a Memorial Reception to follow.
