James F. Conrad

James Floyd Conrad, age 66 of Homeworth, died at his home Friday, Dec. 30, 2005.
He was born Nov. 28, 1939 in Homeworth, Ohio to Jay Conrad and Martha (Reynolds) Conrad Huston.
He attended Alliance High School and was employed for 15 years at TRW, then worked at Coastal Pets for 15 years. He also owned Raw Wild Furs Business for 36 years.
He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Carol (Yoho) Conrad, whom he married Dec. 23, 1961; three daughters Cindy (Cal) Wells of Alliance; Chris (Mike) Bandy of Homeworth, and Cathy (Bill) Householder of Sheffield; six grandsons, Dale Wells, Robert Bandy, Steve Householder, Bill Bandy, Jim Householder, and Christopher Bandy; two granddaughters, Melissa (Rick) McKissick and Sherri Wells; four great-grandsons, Leon, Thomas, Drake and Ethen; five great-granddaughters, Vanessa, Morgan, Hannah, Alyssa, and Lestina; step-mother, Gerry Conrad of Canton, sisters, Ruth (Fred) Stanford of Norwalk, Ohio, and Alyce (Mike) Porter of Washington, sister-in-law Sandy Conrad of Sutherland, Nebraska, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Carol Shellenburger, and one brother, Jay Conrad.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, or Diabetes Foundation.
