James D. 'Jimmy' Ramey, age 45, of Atwater, died at his home Friday April 20, 2007.
He was born April 23, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Harold Eugene Ramey and Bernice V. (Johnson) Ramey Barbarossa and lived most of his life in Atwater.
Jimmy attended Waterloo High School and worked for 16 years at Rotek Inc.
He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, and walking with Tyler and the dogs on the farm.
Survivors include his mother, Bernice V. (Emelio 'Butch') Barbarossa of Alliance; two sons, Joshua D. Ramey of Fla., and Tyler Ramey of Atwater; brothers and sisters, Steve E. (Denise) Ramey of Sebring, Bonnie M. (Dan) Stroup of Atwater, Phillip M. (Laury) Ramey of Atwater, and Kathy R. Ramey of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private Family Services will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Portage County Drug Task Force, P.O. Box 207, Ravenna Ohio 44266.
