James Garfield Trump Jr., age 77, of Alliance, passed away May 24, 2013, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born March 27, 1936, in Limaville, Ohio, to James G. and Wilma Gay (Miller) Trump.
Jim was enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California. He traveled to Spain and Africa during his time in the service.
He retired from Transue and Williams, and also served on the Atwater Fire and Township Departments.
Jim was a caring and loving father to his children, Arla (Alan) Daves, Patti (Joe) Wittensoldner, Judi (Gary) Loshark, and Jimmy (Laurel) Trump.
He enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren, Justin (Stacey), Whitney (Greg), Cody, Donovan, Rachel and Haven.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rae (Green) Trump in 1989.
The family would like to thank all his GIRLS (you know who you are), the Alliance Community Hospital for the exceptional care given by the ER, ICU, and third floor comfort care and also the Lexington Twp. Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Twp. Fire Department, 14555 Gaskill Drive N.E. Alliance, OH 44601.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. today, May 25, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Peters officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Atwater Cemetery.
