Jan K. Edwards, age 55 of Alliance, died at 6:22 a.m. Friday May 7, 2004 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born February 10, 1949 in Alliance, Ohio to Charles William and Jane Leota (Brown) Edwards.
Jan graduated from Marlington High School and was employed as a molder at Royal China in Sebring.
She was a member of Alliance Baptist Temple and enjoyed playing softball for Carol's Cut and Curl Team. She also enjoyed going fishing, playing cards and playing games with her family.
Survivors include; one daughter, Marty Jo Edwards of Alliance, two sisters; Tracy Edwards of Alliance, and Peggy Davis of Fairfax, Virginia; nine brothers; Timothy Edwards of Homeworth, Lynn (Wilda) Edwards of Alliance, Buck (Barb) Edwards of Alliance, Larry (Brenda) Edwards of Cleveland, Jerry (Eileen) Edwards of Louisville, Kim Edwards of Alliance, Roger Edwards of Alliance, Jeff (Debbie) Edwards of Homeworth, and Todd Edwards of Alliance, seventeen nieces and ten nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Pam E. Edwards, two nieces and one great-nephew.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
