Janet E. Stevens

Miss Janet E. Stevens, age 86 of Alliance, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born July 11, 1920 in Alliance, Ohio to Lee Donald and Lillian (Scott) Stevens and was a lifelong resident.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Miss Stevens was a member of the DAR - Daughters of American Revolution. Survivors include nephews, Courtney Harlan of Seville and Mark Dixon of Alliance; nieces, Sharon Rich of Alliance, Brooke DaHinden of Ashland, and Shawn Buzzard of Massillon; eleven great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jean Harlan and Bette Dixon; and one niece, Janet Breit. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27th at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Cash-Burless officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ICU Department at Alliance Community Hospital. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, Ohio.
