Janet Carol Elliott, age 73, of Alliance, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2016, at her home.
She was born December 29, 1942, in Alliance, Ohio, to Jack and Florence (Newman) Miller.
A 1960 graduate of Alliance High School, Janet was employed at the Ohio Department of Liquor Control and secretary at the Edinburg United Church. She was also a secretary for many years at the YWCA of Alliance and formerly employed at Perskey's and the Union Avenue Quick Shop.
Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, her card club girls, and especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Richard L. "Dick" Elliott, whom she married October 1988; sons, Christian (Diane) Drabic of Mantua and Jeffrey (Tammy) Drabic of Ravenna; brother, Gerald Miller of Canton; and grandchildren, Faith, Austin and Caitlyn Drabic.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Miller; and sister, Judy Gallina.
A private service to celebrate Janet's life will be held with sister-in-law, Beverly Henderson officiating.
