Janet G. Homan, age 66 of Alliance, died at 7:40 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born December 14, 1944 in Alliance, Ohio to William Earl and Stella M. (Litsinger) Homan.
Janet graduated in 1966 from Mount Union College and received her Master's Degree from Kent State University. She formerly taught Spanish and French at Lake High School until retiring and later was employed at A. R. Schopp's Sons Inc.
She was a former member of Toastmaster's and Alliance Jayceettes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Chapel Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at Highland Memorial Park with David Parry, Chaplain, Copeland Oaks, Crandall Medical Center officiating.
